Midsummer is one of my favorite times of year, the nature around us is in full bloom, and we are gearing up for a busy season ahead.

As we move through the end of the year, we have lots on the list of things we want to accomplish:

  • Extending clinics to increase access for patients in our community and making vaccine clinics readily accessible to our community.

  • Increasing our impact with public health initiatives, such as increasing the medical supplies people need and how they are accessed.

  • Starting strategic planning and incorporating our communities' voices in our work to ensure we put our patients at the center of all we do.

The team at GNHC has been busy finding new ways to do work, increase impact, and leave no stone unturned when caring for our patients and volunteers. Our patients, volunteers, and friends who support our work are our heroes - so much in our health system is a challenge to navigate. Our patients navigate significant challenges in many aspects of their lives, not just their care. Our volunteers help navigate the system, the challenges, and the best outcomes for our patients. Our friends, well, it would not be possible without you. To you each, we thank you because together, we make a real difference that would only be possible by working together toward a common goal.

Thank you for making our mission happen,

Elizabeth Austin, MHA

Executive Director
