We've Got You Covered
If you have hardwood floors in your home, then you probably have numerous rugs as well. Rugs can make your home feel more comfortable, can help trap allergens and dust, and can reduce the noise in your home. All these benefits come with upkeep as well. Heavy traffic areas usually contain rugs that can get soiled easily and can get worn out if not maintained correctly.
Use water immediately to clean any spills that happen on a daily basis. Rugs are made from different materials, and various chemicals can cause unwanted reactions to these materials. Water is the safest way to spot clean your rugs. Follow the steps below:
- Place a towel under the rug.
- Soak the stain or spill with water.
- Use another towel to press down and soak up the stain/spill and water, and repeat until the majority of the stain is removed.
Rugs can benefit from regular professional cleaning to remove set in stains, to improve appearance and get your rug looking new again. If you would like to have Bishop clean your rug, please call our office at (229) 883-1202 or schedule a cleaning online.
