Valhalla 41

We introduced you to the V-41 Wild Thing last week with a few early-morning running shots. This week’s imagery is equally impressive, demonstrating the clean, streamlined deck, helm and hardtop design of the Valhalla brand. Our layout – which promotes functionality and ease of access for storage and service – is refreshing in a center console market flooded with complicated topside configurations. Above: The Wild Thing’s faux teak transom, 90-gallon live well (with clear lid), unobstructed cockpit and mezzanine with optional refrigeration underneath.

Hidden beneath the cockpit and mounted in an engineered space is the Seakeeper 3. Notice the smooth finish of the hatch lid’s underside, the thick gasketing (sealed in a recessed channel) and the deep gutters around the hatch perimeter.

Release Marine teak helm chairs with armrests and flip-down bolsters are mounted to the fiberglass seating module. The seats move fore and aft via electric slides. The premium upholstery features Diamond/Bentley stitching.

Electric teaser reels are housed inside the hardtop; the molded-in pod above holds a row of electronics; the wraparound ProCurve glass enclosure offers excellent visibility and weather protection; the recessed black acrylic dash is home to a center 22-inch Garmin display sided by 16-inch displays (all flush-mounted).

Glove boxes to port and starboard contribute to the helm’s impeccable appearance. Enhancements include a teak helm pod from Release Marine, and options include a Mini Controller and pod-mounted rocker switches for the Zipwake trim control system, as well as an Edson carbon fiber steering wheel.

Starlink is one of the most popular accessories on all sizes of Viking and Valhalla yachts, and the Viking subsidiary Atlantic Marine Electronics is ready to expertly install this high-performance satellite internet communications system. The Starlink antenna – the square flat structure – is shown mounted on the aft end of the hardtop.

Built-in toekick around the console and forward seating modules, along with the recessed bow rail, maximizes deck space and safety. The bow provides both ample amounts of seating and real estate to fish. A cavernous centerline fish box will swallow the day’s biggest catch.

Wild Thing sports a Pamlico Blue gelcoat; quad 400-hp V10 Mercury Verados push her to a top speed of 70-plus mph. For information about the V-41 or any of our models from 28 to 55 feet contact your authorized Valhalla Boatworks dealer.
