ClassE meets daily from 8 - 9:20 am, Lifespan Center (unless noted above), 11021 E. Cty. Rd. 800 N., Charleston (Loxa Road - northeast of SBLHS). Class is open and everyone is welcome.
Continuing to Make the Sale

Students continued to make calls, write emails and personally visit prospective golfers and sponsors. We have one more week to fill up the course.

We reviewed the Excel spreadsheets that were created to organize this event and made enhancements to make them more
informative.  A Facebook event was created and students are learning how to increase their views
by boosting their posts.
Two students attended the joint Chamber of Commerce after hours to help promote the event.



Touring Lanman Oil Company

Mike Lanman, father of ClassE student Ben, spoke to the class about his entrepreneurial journey. His father owned a hardware business on the square, but he took another route and now owns four Lambo's convenience stores and supplies gas and diesel to 76 locations throughout Illinois.

At first, convenience stores were known for the "Cokes and smokes" but now they provide more food service, showers to truckers, video games, gifts and lottery tickets.

We hope to learn more about retail and positioning on the shelves in another day in class.
Learning Via Extra-curricular Activities 

ClassE student Mason Phipps performed at the Lifespan Center during a fundraiser for Little Theater on the Square this Tuesday evening.
Many other students are busy with football, cross country, cheerleading and soccer and golf.
