Location: Lifespan Center (unless noted below), 11021 E. Cty. Rd. 800 N. Charleston (Loxa Rd just northeast of SBLHS).  Class is open and everyone is welcome. 
Learning to Take Care of Your Customers at Drake Homes

Mary Drake and Avery Adams welcomed the class to Drake Homes and discussed founder Steve Drake's, entrepreneurial journey from restauranteur to  home construction guru. They discussed how they take care of the client from the first meeting all the way until they hand them the keys to their new home. Trust and transparency were the two most important qualities that make the client choose their company.

They also broke the students into two groups and had them pick out the colors, siding, shutters and stone for the exterior of the house. They also took us to a new building site and showed us a beautiful work in progress on a extended living pool house. A trend in construction is to have homes feel like vacation getaways.

Bill discussed finding your business's unique value proposition. He comes very prepared and travels extensively to make  it easy on 
the client to choose Drake Homes. He shared his work requirements which are to the left.





Prepping for the Trade Show

Thanks to Charleston Charitable Foundation, ClassE will have drapes and piping to dress up the trade show. The students learned how to assemble the pvc pipes to create a backdrop for their table.
