When we think back about our days at the Mount it's hard not to smile. It's safe to say that those were special days, not just because they were our high school years, but they were our Mount years.
If you allow yourself to think back, our class, the Class of '76 had a special bond, a brotherhood that grew from our time together and the experiences we shared. The Outpatients of Bellevue cheering section at basketball games, the laughs we had in the cafeteria, the retreats we all went on, our victory over Hayes, and the many funny stores we can all tell about our teachers. It was also the 50th Anniversary of The Mount.
It was guys like Mr. Richard Tricario (I'm sure he knew we called him Tricky Dick), and his brother, Joe, Mr. Murphy, Brother Leclerc, Brother Linus, Brother Casey, Mr. Ciaola, Mr. Coleman, Mr. Settacase, and the list goes on - all great guys who cared about us. And you must remember our beloved principal, Brother John Herrmann. How many times did we hear his hallmark warning - This Will NOT Be Had!
The Mount is still going strong as it celebrates its 90th Anniversary! You are "Welcome Back" to see the campus, revisit our youth and celebrate our Alma Mater.
