Domestic Violence Awareness Month
Domestic Violence Awareness Month is held each October as a way to unite advocates across the nation in their efforts to end domestic violence. Communities and advocacy organizations across the country connect with the public and one another throughout the month to raise awareness about the signs of abuse and ways to stop it, and to uplift survivor stories.
This is a chance for all of us to unite in the work to end domestic violence. We invite advocates, loved ones, supporters, and others to join together in solidarity, and to listen to and uplift survivors directly. With so many people speaking in a unified voice throughout October, we can raise our collective awareness about domestic violence to end abuse for good.

Congratulations SCC FastTrack Faculty!
Over the past three years, the following faculty have aligned their online course(s) with the CVC-OEI Course Design Rubric. For full alignment, a course must meet 28 stringent benchmarks of high-quality design and achieve 100% accessibility compliance.
These professors dedicated time and energy completing the Los Rios FastTrack OEI Rubric Academy to make that happen.
Please extend a warm congratulations our colleagues!
