ROHNERT PARK, CA - The City of Rohnert Park Foundation is pleased to announce the adoption of its 2024/25 fiscal year budget. The annual budget was unanimously adopted at the June 25 Special Meeting of the Rohnert Park Foundation Board.
The $326,500 budget expenditures for Fiscal Year 2024/25 include $300,000 for the Small Grants Program and $26,500 for concessions for the Performing Arts Center, professional services, taxes, and fees.
The primary source of the Foundation's approximate $1.5 million annual revenue includes approximately $1.4 million from the Federated Indians of Graton Rancheria. Other revenues totaling $77,000 include interest earnings. The City of Rohnert Park Foundation gratefully acknowledges the financial support provided to the Foundation and the Rohnert Park community by the Federated Indians of Graton Rancheria. These contributions provide important investments in the community and mitigate the impact of the Tribe's entertainment facility.
The projected fiscal year-end fund balance is approximately $1.35 million. This balance remains available for future allocation toward additional programs and projects.
“I am excited to announce the return of our small grants program. We have raised the total disbursement amount from $100,000 to $300,000 and plan to solicit grant applications by the first quarter of 2025,” said Mayor Susan Adams. “Our budget is a statement of our values. This Foundation budget reflects our ongoing commitment to enhance the quality of life in our community. We are deeply grateful for the generous support from the Federated Indians of Graton Rancheria, whose contributions make a significant impact on our city's development and sustainability. Together, we are investing in a brighter future for all residents of Rohnert Park."
The Small Grants Program funds a diverse number of eligible non-profit projects that enhance and sustain the quality of life in the Rohnert Park community.
