City of Poulsbo Public Works department collects garbage during ALL holidays including: Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's Day. Bainbridge Disposal will also collect recycling during all holidays.
There will be no change to your scheduled garbage pickup day during holidays.
Pet Licensing Software Upgrade

Agate Pass Bridge cleaning starts February 13
As part of WSDOT's responsibility to maintain and inspect bridges along state highways, the Agate Pass Bridge on SR 305 will be cleaned in February, 2017. The work requires daytime single-lane closures across the bridge on Monday through Thursday, February 13-16, and again on Tuesday through Friday, February 21-24.

State of the City Address
Mayor Erickson gave a State of the City address at the January 11, 2017, Poulsbo City City Council meeting. If you missed the meeting and would like to watch this informational presentation on what is happening in the City of Poulsbo, please click here. Cemetery Entrance Dedication
On January 24, the City had a dedication ceremony for the new entrance installed at the Poulsbo Cemetery. Recent improvements feature a handsome entrance arch that was designed, constructed, and donated by Mr. Bill Austin. Other improvements by city staff include new parking lot surfacing, installation of water lines and outdoor faucets, removal of debris, placement of trash receptacles, and the pouring of base pads for memorial benches. Volunteers and donors are encouraged to join in the continuing improvement efforts at the cemetery, including the donation and placement of memorial benches. If you would like to help improve and preserve the cemetery, please email Councilmember Kenneth Thomas.
Bench Sponsor Program
The City is launching a new Bench Sponsor Program in 2017! These benches provide an opportunity to honor a friend, relative or organization through the purchase of the community bench with a personalized plaque that will be installed in one of three areas:
Poulsbo Hillsides (located on different hills around the City)
Muriel Iverson Williams Waterfront Park (14 new benches will be placed in front of Austin-Kvelstad Pavilion)
Poulsbo Cemetery (8 new benches will be located at the city cemetery on Caldart Avenue)
