A MESSAGE FROM MAYOR KLING
TO GET KIDS BACK IN SCHOOL WE NEED MORE NUTRITION SERVICES STAFF
The Nampa School District is working towards returning secondary students to the classroom (four days a week following spring break), but in order to do this, they need to fill a minimum of 14 open positions within nutrition services. The position has a $500 signing bonus and includes benefits.
With this critical need in mind, yesterday I had the privilege of visiting Sherman Elementary and helped distribute breakfast in Ms. Requa's second grade classroom. It was a great reminder of the resilience of our children and of the amazing work done by teachers and staff to support Nampa's youth. We hope you will share this job opportunity with anyone you know who may be interested so we can get our students back to school -- and that they can enjoy a delicious meal (free to everyone this year)!
-Mayor Debbie Kling

NAMPA'S HOUSING SURVEY
LAST CHANCE TO TAKE THE HOUSING SURVEY
The Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Entitlement program was established in 1974 and helps cities in the Treasure Valley develop viable communities by creating suitable living environments, expanding economic opportunities, and providing decent housing for low to moderate income individuals. In an attempt to better understand the current or potential barriers to safe affordable housing, we are asking Nampa residents to take a few moments and complete this anonymous survey.
