This year’s work is anticipated to be completed in late October, and final completion of the remaining tasks is expected to be done in early summer 2024. Currently, the contractor is installing street trees and signage along the corridor while restoring disturbed areas with topsoil and seed. Sidewalk and traffic signal work at Weston Drive is anticipated to take place next week. Travelers can expect both travel lanes on Mequon Road to be open in the next few weeks with intermittent closures for ongoing work. The City will continue to post weekly construction updates on the City website.
