Community Pool Attendance Grows by 28%

This past summer, the Mequon Community Pool was open June 3 - 7 and June 10 – August 27. Total season attendance was up from years past with a total season tally of 13,453, nearly 3,000 more than last year. The attendance was backed by 676 pool passes and 268 ‘Super Passes’ which allow admittance to pools in the neighboring cities of Cedarburg, Grafton, and Port Washington. The increase in attendance can largely be attributed to favorable weather, new events such as the Cannonball Contest and Cardboard Boat Races, and a rotating schedule of food trucks. The City is looking forward to continuing the momentum into the 2024 season.
