2023 Road Program Construction and Maintenance Underway

The 2023 Road Program began on May 8 with Crack Seal and GSB-88 Bituminous Seal surface treatment applications on select roads throughout the City. Both of these treatment projects are anticipated to be completed within the next couple of weeks.

Road Program construction is anticipated to begin the week of July 31. The City’s contractor, Payne & Dolan, will have crews working throughout the project area to complete preparatory work in advance of the selected roads being repaved. Streets and subdivisions included in the 2023 Road Program are the following: River Road (Highland Road to Freistadt Road), Trillium Road, Trillium Court, Helen Drive, Phillip Drive, Rael Drive, Shoreland Parkway, St James Court, Hunt Club Court, Grace Court, and Ravine Farm Subdivision. It is currently estimated that all work in Mequon will take approximately four to six weeks to complete. The anticipated project completion date is September 1.

As crews work throughout the City, please exercise caution and patience when driving through work zones.  Residents can stay up-to-date on road projects by following the City’s website here.
