Construction Project Progress | |

Construction Project Progress: Crews continue work on important improvements in the city.
-
Neighborhood & Main Road Repaving: The City of Johns Creek Public Works Department has finished the asphalt work for its ninth year of repaving the City's neighborhood streets, part of a long-term plan to repave and maintain neighborhood streets. Crews paved 11.6 miles of roadway in neighborhoods including Seven Oaks, Abbotts Cove, Long Indian Creek, Highgate, and Pine Ridge. Paving also included McGinnis Ferry Road from Belcrest Drive to Bell Road. Crews patched areas along Sargent, Findley, and Bell roads and are finishing patching on Boles, Buice, and Old Alabama roads. The remaining striping (of the newly resurfaced roads) will be completed in October.
-
Jones Bridge Road Trail & Bike Lane: Crews continue construction of the trail and are working on the final grading. Curb, gutter, and drainage are in the process of being installed and the retaining wall will be built next. The project, which fills in two sidewalk gaps along Jones Bridge Road, is expected to be completed later this year.
-
Buice Road Sidewalk: The black silt fencing has been installed for erosion control to protect neighboring properties from silt and sediment runoff from the construction site. The pine trees have been cleared and removed. The stumps will be removed as part of the land disturbance to follow the relocation of utilities.
