The Fremont Family Resource Center (FRC) is developing a Strategic Plan that will guide its course for the next five years. The Strategic Plan is critical to the success of its collaboration efforts as it continues to grow and address the ever-changing needs of our community and the individuals and families it serves. That is why your voice as a representative of the Fremont Community is needed to make this process possible.
As a member of the Fremont community, we are asking you to take a brief survey on MyFremont. Your response provides valuable input into the strategic processing plan and will be shared with the strategic planning committee at its June 1, 2023 meeting to help shape the FRC's next five-year plan.

May 11 was National Children’s Mental Health Awareness Day. To recognize this day, the City of Fremont’s Youth and Family Services Division, in partnership with Fremont Unified School District, hosted the Sixth Annual Children’s Mental Health Awareness Art Competition and Virtual Exhibition. Students were invited to submit their work in a digital format that helped promote mental health awareness and the theme of “My Happy Place” through drawing, painting, collage, photography, sculpture, and creative writing. The winners of this year’s competition were announced on the City’s website, along with a virtual exhibition showcasing all of this year’s submissions.
Sponsored by Kaiser Permanente, the competition and exhibition help to recognize National Children’s Mental Health Awareness Day, raise community awareness about the importance of children’s mental health, reduce stigma, and increase access to services when children and their families are in need.
