This spring, Mayor Panto is bringing neighbors together at the new City of Easton Neighborhood Pop-up Festivals! Meet your neighbors at these upcoming community events on College Hill, South Side and West Ward. Free and fun for the whole family!

Rec Dept. starts Boys & Girls

Basketball Developmental Program

A new 4-week developmental program to grow basketball talent in Easton is now underway on Monday evenings from 5:30 - 7pm at the Paxinosa School gymnasium. Boys and girls can still participate for $35 per session for the remaining three sessions.


This coming Monday 4/24, Michael Marable of Northampton Community College Athletics will be a special guest coach. The sophomore has been has been named a Second Team All-American, as announced by the NJCAA national office on April 6. Marable, who led the Spartans to a fourth place finish at the NJCAA Division III National Tournament, becomes Northampton's third All-American in program history.


Check the city's social media channels for announcements of more special guests. Advance registration thru the city Rec Dept. is required.

Applications continue to be accepted for the second round of the city's Residential Facade Improvement Program.


Properties must be located in any of the city's four neighborhoods.

West Ward Market returns to 12th St. on May 3; Easton Farmers' Market back at Scott Park on May 6

The West Ward Market by Greater Easton Development Partnership returns to 12th St. between Paxinosa Elementary School and Cottingham Stadium on Wednesday, May 3 from 3- 7 pm. Opening ceremonies will take place at 4 pm. It will then run every Wednesday afternoon during those hours.


The 271st season of the Easton Farmers' Market begins on Saturday, May 6 from 9 am - 1 pm in Scott Park along Larry Holmes Drive, with opening ceremonies at 10 am. Rockin' performance by Powder Valley Bang from 11 am - 1 pm. Enjoy breakfast or lunch on the waterfront and celebrate the Spring harvest by shopping fresh and local. EBT accepted. Rain or shine. Dogs welcome. Free parking across the street.

Online registration for fall football with the Lil Rovers is currently underway thru the City Recreation Department.

Summer lifeguard applications


Our pool partner, Easton YMCA, is now accepting applications for lifeguards for Eddyside and Heil pools. Minimum age is 16. City of Easton pays for lifeguard certification. Click on the button to learn more and to apply.

Position Description

The 40th annual Historic Easton House Tour is returning after a three-year pandemic hiatus on Saturday, May 6, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. It boasts six private homes and three public historic properties in the Easton area.


Tickets can be purchased for $30 each/$35 the day of the tour. Tour booklets can be picked up/purchased on May 6 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., at Nevin Park on East Lafayette Street on College Hill. The tour is held rain or shine. Funds raised through the tour support Easton Main Street Initiative (a subsidiary of Greater Easton Development Partnership) and historic preservation projects around the city. A brand new event is coming to Easton that's outta this world! Mark your calendars for the inaugural Lehigh Valley Space Fest at Paxinosa School on May 6 & 7. It's a fun event for the whole family founded by local NASA Solar System Ambassadors.


The event's mission is to "bring space down to Earth” and inspire future generations through an out-of-this-world, annual event packed with educational and awe-inspiring topics related to NASA missions, space exploration, astronomy and more. Get the event schedule here.

The Easton community is invited to join the Lafayette College community for this fun, free Earthfest event tomorrow Friday, April 21 on the Quad.

Join the City of Easton for our 2nd Annual Easton Earth Day celebration this Saturday 4/22 from 2 - 6 pm at Lower Hackett Park. (Rain date is 4/23)
