CHINO, CA (July 26, 2024) -- On Thursday, July 25, the City of Chino was awarded the coveted Chairman’s Award by the Chino Valley Chamber of Commerce during the 2024 Business Awards Dinner at the Chaffey College Chino Community Center.

The City of Chino was recognized for its continued partnership with the Chino Valley Chamber of Commerce for fostering innovation, workforce development, economic growth, and entrepreneurial support.

“On behalf of the City of Chino and the City Council, we are deeply honored to receive this prestigious award from the Chamber of Commerce,” said Chino Mayor Eunice Ulloa. “For many years, the Chamber has been a dedicated partner in fostering a friendly business environment in Chino. I look forward to continuing our shared mission of uplifting the economic vitality of our growing region.”

The Chamber recognized the City for supporting key programs such as Upskill Chino Valley, and for securing funding for a future Innovation & Entrepreneurship Center, a collaboration between the City, Chaffey College, Music Changing Lives, Microenterprise Collaborative of Southern California, and the Chino Valley Chamber of Commerce.

Among the winners at the event were Chino resident Kevin Cisneroz, who received the Outstanding Citizen of the Year Award; SHELL Roofing Solutions, who received the Chino Business of the Year award; Heather Parsons of Chaffey College, who received the Chino Valley Leadership Award; and San Bernardino County Economic Development, who received honors for Best Supporting Organization of the Year.
