WATCH: Police Department Installs New Evacuation Siren on Police Vehicles
The Police Department has installed new, unique sounding sirens on their vehicles to notify the community of the need to evacuate because of possible danger. The tone sounds similar to police sirens you may hear in Europe and is known as the “Hi-Lo” tone. This particular siren will only be used in an emergency where you might need to evacuate and will not be used when officers respond to urgent police incidents or conduct traffic stops.
