The tree registration begins on Friday, March 1 and the tree pick-up event will be held on Friday, April 26.

Property owners can reserve up to three trees that will be provided by a local San Diego nursery. The available tree species, selected from the City's approved street tree list, must be planted on private property, not in the parkway adjacent to the street. Register online to reserve your tree and enjoy the benefits!
Crews Busy Demolishing Recreation Pool and Deck
Last week, construction started on the Aquatics Center and Pool rehabilitation project. Built in 2006, the Center is in need of a complete overhaul. Currently, the City contractors are busy demolishing the recreation pool and deck. With these construction activities, the parking at the Community Center is limited. As soon as the demolition phase is completed, additional parking spaces will become available.

The Aquatics Project Team thanks the community for their patience while the improvements are underway. The anticipated reopening for the Center is in August.

Parker Pump Station Will Transition Back to Normal Construction Operations in Early March
The damaging rainstorm in January severely impacted the Parker Pump Station, interrupting the sewer and storm drain service to the Country Club area. Since then, the City’s contractor has been assisting the City's Engineering Team in its recovery efforts.

A complete bypass of the storm water system was designed and installed to prepare for subsequent storms. The repairs on the storm water pump are on track to be completed in early March. This will allow the construction crews to then return to their normal construction operations on the Parker Pump Station Replacement project.
