Lodi 360 - Kyle Peterson, Lodi Electric Line Crew Foreman

Meet Kyle Peterson, our Electric Utility Line Crew Foreman for the City of Lodi. Kyle is not just a dedicated professional; he's a passionate member of our community. He loves working for the city he calls home and takes pride in serving his neighbors.

Later this month, our Electric Utility team will open its doors to local schools for an exciting tour of our facility to celebrate Public Power Week. It's a fantastic opportunity for students to learn firsthand what a lineman like Kyle does to keep our city powered up!

We greatly appreciate all the hard work and dedication of our Electric Utility employees who keep the lights on in Lodi. To learn more about a career in Electric Utility, click here.

99/Turner Project Update

We've made significant progress, with the installation of curbs and gutters completed, along with the initial asphalt placement. Right now, our contractor is hard at work on several fronts, including installing the retaining wall for the Southbound off-ramp, working on landscaping, and finalizing the remaining traffic signal tasks.

We're on track to wrap up this project by the end of November, and we appreciate your patience and understanding as we improve this vital transportation route. Stay tuned for more updates!

New PRCS Deputy Director

It is my pleasure to announce that we have a new Parks and Recreation deputy director! Join me in welcoming him to the City!

Mr. Denis Nishihara started public service in 2000 as a part-time Senior Recreation Leader with the City of San Carlos, planning youth development programs. Promoting in city government over the past 20-plus years, his experience is vast, ranging from park maintenance to child/youth development. Recently, Denis served with the City of Sacramento Youth, Parks, and Community Enrichment Department, facilitating recreational programs, and directing community center operations in Oak Park, Del Paso Heights, Hagginwood, and North Sacramento. Previously, as a Recreation Manager with the Rio Linda Elverta Recreation and Park District, he oversaw Capital Improvement Projects, State Bond Grants, park renovations, aquatics, athletics, and special events.

Denis was appointed to the City of Roseville’s Parks and Recreation Commission in 2017 where he voted on multiple new park developments, recommended department budgets, and supported department services. Denis is a Certified Park and Recreation Professional (CPRP) with the National Recreation and Parks Association and a California Parks and Recreation Society member. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business and attended night school to obtain his MBA from William Jessup University. Denis is a proud father of 4 amazing kids and loves spending his free time with them playing video games, going on family adventures, and just being lazy by the pool.
