The COVID-19 ETT, appointed by Mayor Nirenberg and County Judge Wolff, was focused on lending a broad-ranging business perspective to the Health Transition Team (HTT) Advisory Guidelines to reopen the local economy while also considering the guidelines that help mitigate the spread of the coronavirus.
The ETT guidelines provide three key deliverables to support the region’s safe reopening by:
- Developing a local playbook
- Creating a marketing & public relations plan
- Identifying & facilitating access to business resources
The ETT report released today includes recommendations for safely reopening businesses within Bexar County and is intended to build on the standards outlined in the
Governor's Open Texas Report
-April 27. Also today, Governor Abbott expanded business openings in Texas and created Surge Response Teams to Combat COVID-19. A list of the latest business checklists are available on the
Governor's Open Texas
website.
