The City of Galt is extending an invitation to become involved in providing a fun and safe evening for the children of Galt. If you are interested in participating, please contact Jackie directly. Here is what they are providing and looking for in partnership:
"Following County Health Guidelines, we are so excited to be able to provide a safe
environment for families to come together to create new memories during these unprecedented times. Although we will not be hosting the ‘Spookishly Fun Movie Night” this year, in place of our movie night we will invite the community to participate in a “ Spookishly Fun Family Night” on Friday October 30, 2020 starting at 6:30 p.m. Attendees will be encouraged to drive through “trick or treat lane” on the Market Grounds. Participants will enter by vehicle only through the one-way street from Meladee & Glendale and slowly travel through “trick or treat” lane of the Market exiting Gate 3. While driving through, local business will have their parked vehicles decorated in festive Halloween décor, your volunteers/staff will be giving out pre-package candy to children driving through “trick or treat lane.” Passengers of vehicles will be encouraged to hold out their candy bag/pumpkin and candy will be distributed with minimal contact. Families will have the opportunity to watch a 22 minute “Toy Story of Terror” movie as they exit trick or treat lane. In consideration of the current health protocols, Spookishly Fun Family Night will follow all rules of social distancing.
Last year’s event would have not been possible with all the support of the local businesses and community partnerships. To continue the success of this event and move forward with planning, we hope that you will be interested in partnering with the City of Galt and provide a trunk or treat station. Attached are guidelines for businesses/community partners:
· Assigned space 20 x 30
· Vehicle decorated in festive Halloween décor
· Pre-packaged candy provided by business/community partners
· Pre-packaged candy will be distributed with gloves at all times
· Assigned locations will be adequately spaced to follow all social distancing guidelines
· No more than (2) two staff/volunteers at each space – Mask will be required during event duration
· Business/Community partners must follow all social distancing guidelines.

This event is only possible by your willingness to join in this traditional event with a new twist!"
