Archbishop Moeller's Sidon
Sidon joined the Moeller family through a special partnership with the Keep Going 25 Foundation, established to honor the legacy of Moeller alumnus Michael Currin ’20. Michael had a special bond with his golden retriever, Clive.
Moeller students enjoy interacting with Sidon. In addition, the faculty and staff seek him out throughout the day. Sidon has an innate sense of when someone is distressed and he responds in a calming, reassuring manner.
School counselors have seen his presence calm students, helping them to talk about their feelings, and helping them feel safe to open up about their concerns.
He shows his playful side by entertaining in the classroom, and enjoys showing off his tricks and skills. A personal favorite is the “pray” command where he places his head in his paws.
