The Angel Advocate campaign will officially launch on 9/10, but the initiative will be an ongoing effort. Aside from any organizing efforts you may have in mind, I will be emailing my Honor Bridge contacts on 9/10 the social media links to the Angel Advocate Video. The video will have already been uploaded, so all everyone has to do is email the links to those people that might have an interest in participating.
Main points:
- The Angel Advocate Program is the first crowd sharing movement to help people in urgent need of a kidney transplant find a living donor.
- The program helps patients who are actively trying to share their story but need additional support to reach a wider audience on social media.
- Participating takes about two minutes once a week but can make a life-saving difference for the patients.
- Motto: There isn't a shortage of organs (kidneys), but a shortage of people who know there is a need. This program helps to bridge that connection.
