We are excited to announce that our guest speaker this year is Reverend Stacy Grove, known for workshops on Conscious Aging and Eco-Spirituality. Please see our agenda to see what we have planned for the retreat. As always, there will be free time for hiking, conversation, or seeing more of beautiful Black Mountain.

Transportation

If you want to carpool and/or are willing to drive and offer someone a ride, please let Loye know. Drivers will arrange with riders to meet on Wednesday morning to depart.

  • 9 am: Welcome
  • 9:15 am: Drumming session and Introductions 
  • 9:30-11 am: Stacy L Grove, M Div- Topic: Sage- ing, Conscious Aging
  • 11 am: Reflection / Free time
  • 12:00 Lunch
  • 1:30 pm: Free Time

Optional group hike: Steve to lead moderate hike/ Lori to lead easy hike

Oct 4 -Friday

Fees include the use of Christmount facilities and meeting rooms, welcome reception, lodging for 3 nights, and meals (3 breakfasts and 2 lunches).

Dinners are not included. We typically go to a restaurant in Black Mountain.



  • Two attendees sharing a room: $281each
  • One attendee in private room: $446


  • A deposit of $100 per person is due by June 1
  • Balance is due by September 1


  • We gladly accept contributions to our speaker fee.


We have some money available for partial scholarships. If you need assistance in order to attend, please contact our financial secretary at the link below.
