And there will be signs in the sun, in the moon, and in the stars; and on the earth distress of nations, with perplexity, the sea and the waves roaring; men’s hearts failing them from fear and the expectation of those things which are coming on the earth, for the powers of the heavens will be shaken. Then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. Now when these things begin to happen, look up, and lift up your heads, because y our redemption draws near.
Luke 21:25-28
There was a 7.2 magnitude earthquake in Haiti a few days ago, with hundreds killed and thousands left homeless - with nowhere to shelter from approaching hurricane-force storms. Our international presence in Afghanistan has fallen apart, thanks to the ineptness and weakness of the illegitimate government now occupying the White House. In the never-ending plandemic called COVID-19, we’re being told to go back and mask-up all over again, with inflated and erroneous “data” being thrown our way to scare or pressure us into compliance. I hear that bastion of “reliable, truthful information - (not)” – the CDC (Center for Disease Control), now recommends a third booster vaccine shot because the first two jabs are beginning to weaken. And if all of that isn’t enough, everybody is suing everybody else these days, with judges rendering ridiculous verdicts according to the politics of those who appointed them.

This scenario shouldn’t surprise any of us who know what the Bible predicts. We know the level of chaos, fear and dread is only going to increase as the return of Jesus draws closer and closer. Our response? Rest and be at peace! Why? Because we have a better covenant with God than what they enjoyed back in the Old Testament (Hebrews 7:22/8:6/12:24). And if God stepped in to miraculously deliver His people under an inferior covenant to what we have now, get excited, because that “better covenant” guarantees provision and protection from our Heavenly Father Himself. Look at this from another angle. We’re ambassadors for Christ (2 Corinthians 5:20). It is the responsibility of the sending nation to provide and protect their ambassadors. That means God will protect us and He will provide for us, no matter what things look like in our lives, or in the world around us.

When Jesus declared the sea and the waves would be roaring, He wasn’t talking about natural bodies of water, like oceans, lakes, or rivers. Prophetically, when the Bible refers to the sea and the waves roaring, it is referring to large groups of people. Governments. Language groups. Cultural groups. Social groups. Racial groups. Political refugees and political prisoners. When these groups are “roaring”, it means they’re crying out for help to alleviate their pain - but not getting any. When they’re roaring “with perplexity”, that means the problems they face are so massive and complex, powers-that-be don’t know what to do or where to go to offer effective assistance. This is where we are now, around the world. Masses of people crying out for help, and governments having no answers or solutions to alleviate the suffering, fear, and misery.
O our God, will You not judge them? For we have no power against this great multitude that is coming against us; nor do we know what to do, but our eyes are upon You. 2 Chronicles 20:12

We are living in 2 Chronicles chapter 20. In the same way he cried out and interceded for the salvation of Israel, so now the body of Christ is responsible for standing in the gap to save America from certain destruction. In the same way King Jehoshaphat and the nation set their eyes on God back then, so we must do the same today. Our God is the only One who can save America from the demonically controlled puppets who now dominate at every level of our society. No political party can turn this around. No military army can turn this around. No other country can come to our rescue. It’s us and God – that’s it! And praise God – that’s enough! Time and again, God rescued His nation and His people from enemies, both foreign and domestic. He even did so when the country was a backslidden mess, like America is today. He’ll do it again for us. And thank God, He doesn’t need everybody in the church to get involved. According to 2 Chronicles 16:9, His search is only for a select few - they who have a “another spirit”, like Caleb (Numbers 14:24). The ones He can show Himself “strong to”.
Ezekiel 22:30-31 is still as powerful today as it was back then. If we stand in the gap and make the spiritual wall of resistance, God will spare our land and give us more time to evangelize. The only way to stay above all the fear is to get our eyes on God and keep them there. The only way to do that is to get into God’s Word, and follow His instructions – the ones given to Joshua thousands of years ago.

This book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall mediate in it day and night, that you may observe to do all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success. Joshua 1:8

I’ve taught on this truth for years and will continue to do so. In this one verse, God sums up the “secret” for our success and prosperity in life, especially in times like these. Unfortunately, very few Christians follow these instructions. That is why they are just as nervous and afraid for the future as the unbelievers. The world is unraveling faster and faster. We must continue to look up with joy, anticipation, and expectation, because our redemption is near - just as Jesus said we should. We shouldn’t be in fear and trembling, looking down at the insurmountable problems all around us. Faith is the evidence of things not seen (Hebrews 11:1), and the faith we need comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God (Romans 10:17). That tells us where our eyes need to be!
Now Peter and John went up together to the temple at the hour of prayer, the ninth hour. And a certain man lame from his mother’s womb was carried, who they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask alms from those who entered the temple; who, seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple, asked for alms. And fixing his eyes on him, with John, Peter said, “Look at us.” Acts 3:1-4

Instead of looking and listening to the sea and waves roaring in doubt, fear, and unbelief, we also need to be looking at the front-line fighters in the army of the Lord. We need to find people of like precious faith (2 Peter 1:1) and follow them closely. We need to join forces with members of God’s Radical Remnant – the Congregation of the Mighty (Psalms 82:1).

For though you might have ten thousand instructors in Christ, yet you do not have many fathers; for in Christ Jesus I have begotten you through the gospel. Therefore I urge you, imitate me. 1 Corinthians 4:16.

Imitate me, just as I also imitate Christ. 1 Corinthians 11:1

But you have carefully followed my doctrine, manner of life, purpose, faith, longsuffering, love, perseverance, 2 Timothy 3:10

We need to keep our eyes on God’s Word, and on those who fearlessly preach the uncompromised truth without apology or hesitation. You won’t find them in most churches because most churches are cemeteries in disguise, but find them you will because they are out there. And when you find them, love them, pray for them, support them, and come alongside of them. Consider these statements from the Lord:

I will lift up my eyes to the hills – from whence comes my help? My help comes from the Lord, Who made heaven and earth. He will not allow your foot to be moved; He who keeps you will not slumber. Behold, He who keeps Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep. The Lord is your keeper; the Lord is your shade at your right hand. The sun shall not strike you by day, nor the moon by night. The Lord shall preserve you from all evil. He shall preserve your soul. The Lord shall preserve your going out and your coming in from this time forth, and even forevermore. Psalms 12:1-8.

Life up your eyes to the heavens, and look on the earth beneath. For the heavens will vanish away like smoke, the earth will grow old like a garment, and those who dwell in it will die in like manner; but My salvation will be forever, and My righteousness will not be abolished. Isaiah 51:6

THE RADICAL REMNANT
Since the devil’s COVID-19 Fear Virus has made our ministry travels much more difficult, the Lord has enabled me to maximize my time through the writing of more faith-building books. In 2020, we produced DETERMINED FAITH, which is being sold out wherever we make it available. Now for 2021, we have just produced THE RADICAL REMNANT, another book designed to inspire, instruct and exhort the true warriors for Christ Jesus in these last days.
