"Please run now to meet her, and say to her, 'Is it well with you? Is it well with your husband? Is it well with the child?'"
And she answered, "It is well." 2 Kings 4:26
And the child grew. Now it happened one day that he went out to his father, to the reapers. And he said to his father, "My head, my head!"

So he said to a servant, "Carry him to his mother." When he had taken him and brought him to his mother, he sat on her knees till noon, and then died. And she went up and laid him on the bed of the man of God, shut the door upon him, and went out. Then she called to her husband, and said, "Please send me one of the young men and one of the donkeys, that I may run to the man of God and come back."

So he said, "Why are you going to him today? It is neither the New Moon nor the Sabbath."

And she said, “It is well." Then she saddled a donkey, and said to her servant, "Drive, and go forward; do not slacken the pace for me unless I tell you." And so she departed, and went to the man of God at Mount Carmel.

So it was, when the man of God saw her afar off, that he said to his servant Gehazi, "Look, the Shunammite woman! Please run now to meet her, and say to her, 'Is it well with you? Is it well with your husband? Is it well with the child?'"

And she answered, "It is well." 2 Kings 4:18-27
Take time to read the whole story I’ve made mention of here. Start with 2 Kings 4:8, and read to the end of 2 Kings 4:37. As we enter into a new year with an old pandemic still in play, and with an illegitimate, fraudulent “administration” taking over in Washington D.C, it is critical we remember that our words are still the most powerful weapons on the planet. If we change what we say, we will change what we see. As I said in my FINAL THOUGHT segment in this month’s COLD WATER, our words will win in 2021! This is what God told me, and I believe it. We need to remember that stories like this one are in the Bible for a reason. God didn’t just throw these verses in because he needed to fill up space. The Holy Spirit inspired this story, and others like it, to be written down for us to read, learn from and apply.

This woman gave birth to a miracle baby, but death came to steal this miracle away. Much like what the devil and his useful idiots have done to the United States of America, as they’ve lied, cheated, stolen, killed, manipulated and engaged in whatever criminal activity was necessary to change the outcome of our last presidential election in November.
What did the mother do to confront the work of the enemy? She made her stand in faith, and declared the end-result. Like Abraham in Romans 4:17-21, she called things that were not as though they were. The real body of Christ needs to be doing the same thing today. There will always be so-called Christians who haven’t got a clue, and they will always be the majority of people who are born-again, but useless to God nonetheless. I’m speaking to the radical remnant of believers who know who they are in Christ, and the authority we’ve been given to use in the name of Jesus. We don’t need energy – we need synergy like never before. One can put a thousand to flight, but two can put ten thousand to flight (Deuteronomy 32:30).

Along with multitudes of other brethren of like-precious faith, start saying IT IS WELL! With our country. With our churches. With our outreaches. With our marriages, families, businesses and whatever else needs to be addressed. Follow Paul’s admonition to the Corinthians then, and to us today:

Now I plead with you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment. 1 Corinthians 1:10

God has not lifted His hand off of America just because a bunch of satanic puppets want it to be so. Millions of us have followed divine directions found in Ezekiel 22:30-31. To stave off divine judgment, we’ve stood in the gap and made the wall – and continue to do so. In His timing and not ours, the Lord is at work to display the power and protection that enables us to continue going forward to preach the Gospel in quietness and peace (1 Timothy 2:1-4). Believe it.
Don’t be moved by the armies of idiots who think they’ve won their coveted victory over our ability to freely share the gospel. God is laughing at them in heaven – learn to laugh at them alongside our Heavenly Father!
(Psalms 2:1-4, Psalms 37: 11-12, Psalms 59:8). Be patient. God is still working out the miracle that will save our country from the ungodly. Make no mistake about it. Make the decision to declare it! It is well with our country, with the body of Christ and with you.

Back to the story in 2 Kings 4, at no time did anyone utter the words “death”, or “dead” when describing the current condition of the dead boy. The mother never did. Gehazi never did, and neither did the prophet Elisha. Learn how to declare your future in such a way that you empower God and paralyze the devil simultaneously. Others who understand the language of faith will know what you’re saying, without you saying things that hinder the move of God. Notice that at first, in 2 Kings 4:28, Elisha didn’t understand why this Shunammite woman had come to him, but as she took hold of his feet (that will get your attention!) and reminded him about the miracle conception he had declared over her – he knew what she was saying without her saying it.

And as far as we can tell from the story, the boy’s father never knew his son had died that day! By the time he came back from the fields at the end of the day, his son was sitting there completely healed! He never knew, and he didn’t need to know as far as the boy's mother was concerned.
Be careful with who, what, when and how you speak.
Now more than ever, we need to be very careful with our words. Not just what we say, but who we say them to, when we speak and how we speak. God has the power to change things, but we have His God-given dominion
(Genesis 1:26-28), so He waits for us to exercise our authority in the name of Jesus. That’s why we must be very economical with our words. Unbelief stops the power of God in our lives and in our country, the same way it did in the ministry of Jesus on earth (Mark 6:5-6). If our Lord Jesus couldn’t get past the verbal sea of fear and unbelief, who are we to think we can? Think before you speak. Proverbs says it this way:

In the multitude of words sin is not lacking,
But he who restrains his lips is wise. Proverbs 10:19

The heart of the righteous studies how to answer,
But the mouth of the wicked pours forth evil.
Proverbs 15:28

He who answers a matter before he hears it,
It is folly and shame to him. Proverbs 18:13

These are just a few of the many verses we could quote on this matter. There was a popular slogan used during World War 2 - Loose Lips Sink Ships. It was an important reminder to all citizens to guard what they say at all times. Bottom line is this: If you can’t say something that gives God something to work with, shut your mouth! Zip your lip! You don’t owe anyone an explanation about who you are, what you stand for, what you’re declaring or why. If people get up in your face after hearing you declare your faith, just quote verses to them until they shut up, back down and disappear. Hold your ground in faith, and monitor your mouth. Be like Abraham, our “father in faith”. Call things that be not as though they are, because as far as God is concerned, they are!
