We have been astounded at God's faithfulness and the ways in which His grace has manifested itself at the Collinsville/Maryville campus over the past 12 months. Our leadership team is without question the most committed, selfless, and mission oriented group of Christians we have ever had the pleasure of serving alongside. Their devotion to the cause of Connecting People to Jesus Christ is second to none. Their passion for excellence in all they do and their fierce resolve to do whatever needs to be done, many times at significant personal sacrifice, is evidence of the Holy Spirit's mighty work in their lives. Simply put, they love God, and they love the people at the C/M Campus. This team has fully invested themselves emotionally, spiritually, and physically in this endeavor and wants nothing more than to see their Creator move in miraculous ways to glorify His holy name and connect more people to His Son Jesus Christ. Their passion and commitment has extended to our incredible group of volunteers, several of whom give five hours a week on Sunday mornings to setting up and tearing down our campus.
Our helpers include individuals from Fairview Heights who are now key contributors to the Gospel's advancement through the C/M campus but we also have many volunteers who are indigenous to the Collinsivlle/Maryville area. This is what excites us most -- God is drawing the unchurched and underchurched in the Collinsville and Maryville areas to the C/M campus. And we have the unbelievable privilege of watching His grace work in such a powerful way that many of these people are not only connected to Jesus Christ but as a result of God's grace they are fully engaged in the mission of Christ Church.
We cannot begin to adequately express our appreciation to the scores of people at all three of our Christ Church campuses who have demonstrated their support by attending services at the C/M campus, praying for us, and/or offering words of encouragement. Those acts of kindness mean more than you can possibly imagine. We covet your continued prayers and your ocassional presence at the C/M campus on Sunday mornings. Most of all we are incredibly thankful to God for His faithfulness and His gracious provision, for all that God has done, all that God is doing, and all that God has yet to do in and through the C/M campus. We are extremely optimistic about the future and look forward with great anticipation to all God has in store for us in the next 12 months.
"Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations. forever and ever. Amen."
- Ephesians 3:20,21
