Join Us for Member & Guests Music Nights!
Dear Members & Guests,
We are thrilled to announce that we have a concrete plan for re-introducing full-service restaurant operations to the JazzClubsNW experience in North Bend. Wildflower Wine Shop will move from its current location to our facility in the old fire station, partnering with JazzClubsNW to create a complete experience of outstanding food, wines, and music.
Great food, a permanent selection of wines with local ties to the Snoqualmie Valley and a rotating selection highlighting the various wine-production regions of our state, and a proven commitment to supporting local culture make Wildflower a dream partner for us. They have already begun the permitting process, which we expect to take about 90 days.
JazzClubsNW will continue to host member & guests music performances
every Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday in the old fire station, just as we have for the past 15 months. So come hear some fantastic jazz!

Featuring Seattle bassist Nate Parker and guitarist Eli Meisner!
Nate is a solid timekeeper and melodic soloist. He's dedicated himself to the old-school, no amp approach and has developed a big sound.
Eli attended New York University's renown jazz program in New York City. There, Eli was afforded the privilege of studying with guitarists Peter Bernstein, John Scofield, and Randy Johnston as well as tenor saxophonist Richard Perry. Inspired by his peers as well as idols such as Sonny Rollins, Thelonious Monk and Charlie Parker, Eli continues to search for his own voice on the guitar. He's performed at several venues throughout the New York City and Seattle areas.

Chris Fagan and Dave Peterson: Ancient Lizards Quartet
7:30-9:30pm
Saxophonist Chris Fagan began his jazz mentorship with Bobby Bradford at Pomona College in Claremont, California, teaming up with heavyweight jazz talents such as Carl Burnett, Bob Maize, Billy Childs, and Charlie Parker drummer Dick Berk. Fagan moved on to New York City in 1986 with an NEA Jazz Grant to study with sax giant, David Murray, occasionally sitting in at the Village Vanguard with the Murray's Quartet featuring John Hicks, Ray Drummond and Ed Blackwell. The following nine years in New York, he played with names as diverse as Jack McDuff, Dave Douglas, and alumni members of the Buddy Rich, Mel Lewis and Woody Herman big bands. In 1991, Fagan recorded his first CD Lost Bohemia with Bobby Bradford, Reggie Workman, and Andrew Cyrille. He then moved to Amsterdam to teach jazz saxophone at Sweelinck Conservatory, while making several tours of Europe.
Guitarist Dave Peterson is the epitome of the unsung music talent. He is a humble soul who has performed with a mind boggling list of jazz legends including Dave Liebman, Dave Friesen, Benny Wallace, Gary Peacock, Chet Baker, Bud Shank, Eddie Harris, Buddy DeFranco, Big Joe Turner, Eddie Vinson, Julian Priester, Dave Holland, Gil Evans, Carla Bley, Anthony Braxton, Bob Brookmeyer, Sam Rivers and recently Rich Little, Don Rickles and the Pony Boy All-Star Big Band. Special Guest!
7:30-9:30pm
Award-winning jazz pianist-composer Tamir Hendelman has been leading his own trio and performing with the Jeff Hamilton Trio and the Clayton-Hamilton Jazz Orchestra since 2000-2001. He is known for his imaginative and sensitive playing and arranging on recordings by Natalie Cole, Barbra Streisand and Roberta Gambarini as well as Graham Dechter, Richard Galliano and Claudio Roditi.
As a youth, he moved from Tel Aviv to Los Angeles, winning Yamaha's national keyboard competition, performing in Japan and the Kennedy Center, attending Tanglewood in 1998 and receiving a Bachelor of Music Composition from the Eastman School of Music in 1993.
When Tamir premiered John Clayton's version of Oscar Peterson's Canadiana Suite in 2001, Mr. Peterson wrote: "It was a satisfying but strange feeling... to hear a new young voice make some exhilarating and thoughtful solos in the spaces I used to occupy in those pieces..."
Tamir's latest CD, Destinations reached #1 in the US jazz charts. The album takes listeners along on a voyage of musical discovery, from originals to Jobim, Keith Jarrett and Maurice Ravel. "Destinations to me is about the journey of being a jazz musician."
