Happy Easter blessings!
Today, we are half-way through the 50 days of Easter season. Chris and I were away last weekend but have heard that our Ministry Fair was one of the best ever, and the lamb was again a big hit for Good Shepherd Sunday. Thanks to Charlotte Zito’s Stewardship Commission for organizing, and for all the ministries for helping us find ways to be involved.
Sunday will be a very big day! Our monthly parish pot-luck is a chance for our outstanding cooks to shine. The parish isn’t supplying any main dish because we want to see lots of great entrees as well as sides and desserts — like the old-days. I am looking forward to some great casseroles and pastas and meats, so bring your best! We will also have some fun as we ceremonially “burn the debt papers” for the $1.6 million of medical debt that we eliminated. PLUS, our youth group (EYC) is headed to laser tag after lunch (see below).
I’ll be preaching in the Church at 8 and 10:30 while Lissie+ is preaching in the Gathering and 5:00. There is something going on for everyone. Hope to see you!
