In planning the GROW virtual conference, the CDM Children’s Ministry Team wanted to give you an understanding of how to nurture a biblically faithful ministry to children.
Last week many of you participated in John Kwasny’s webinar on developing a congregational vision for making disciples in the next generation. A fruitful ministry is firmly grounded in Scripture and engages the whole congregation in the effort to help children know and love Jesus.
This week, the GROW training highlights the ministry of Ashley Belknap of Engaging Disability With the Gospel, which is a ministry of the PCA Committee on Mission to North America (MNA). Ashley will conduct a webinar on the basic principles of discipleship among children with special needs. Also, be sure to watch Ashley’s workshop on discipleship at home. This workshop will equip parents and leaders in this vital ministry to children.
Engaging Disability With The Gospel offers many resources designed to equip parents and leaders. Be sure to explore their website and YouTube channel.
For those who want to understand the biblical call, privilege, and blessing of ministry to those with special needs, be sure to read Same Lake, Different Boat by Stephanie Hubach, which also has a DVD curriculum.
