On May 8th our Youth had a night of playing Gaga Ball in the Fellowship Hall, while our FPC Kids enjoyed popsicles on the playground!

We had a great time witnessing the many talents of our FPC Kids and Youth during Soul Feast's Got Talent in May!

FOR THE YOUTH!

Welcome to our Summer Seminary Youth Intern, Jiyeong Seo!

Contact Jiyeong at internfpccov@gmail.com

Read her intro below!

Hello, I am Jiyeong Seo. I am from South Korea, nurtured as a pastor's child in a small church devoid of a youth program. Despite this, I eagerly embraced the responsibility of leading Sunday School, finding joy in the process. My journey further unfolded through active involvement in campus ministry and volunteer roles, in which I seized opportunities to mentor and guide young adults on their path towards discipleship in Christ. Now, as I pursue my studies at Columbia Theological Seminary, my aspiration is to emerge as a Christian Educator, equipped to inspire and empower others on their spiritual journey.

Youth Summer Book Club

Youth are invited to join us as we read Wonder by R.J. Palacio on Wednesdays this Summer!

The first meeting will be in the Youth Room on June 5th after VBS, but the rest will be on Zoom, Wednesdays at 6:00pm. Discussion will be led by our seminary intern Jiyeong!

Each week the youth will learn about a particular mission effort (Faith Works, Family Promise, FPC Community food pantry, etc) and then do a small 'mission project' around that particular mission effort. Class will be taught by our summer youth intern, Jiyeong Seo!

Coming soon: Youth Room Renovation!

The Youth Room will be relocated to the vacant classroom beside the Choir Room. We want your ideas to help decorate! Stay tuned for more info from Jiyeong!

Until further notice ALL youth activities will still be held downstairs!

General Sunday Practices
All children are always invited to wiggle and giggle in worship!

We have “Children in Worship” guiding brochure available at the button below! This brochure is intended to serve as an aid to parents and other members of our congregation in welcoming our children to worship.

Children in Worship
During worship children are invited to join us at the front of the Sanctuary for a time of Wondering with God’s Children. Afterwards, children planning to go to the nursery will be escorted downstairs by Pastor Neeley or Pastor Erin. This is to help you stay in worship and us get them to the nursery safely. If you need help finding the nursery, you are invited to ask an usher to point the way.

A nursery is available on the lower level of the church for newborns through 1st grade children. We do hope children will worship with us in the sanctuary! Wiggles and Giggles are so very welcome!

Our nursery is a safe, loving, and nurturing environment for our youngest disciples.

If your little ones become regular visitors to Sunday School, Worship, or the Nursery, we ask that you fill out the Child Medical Consent Form
Child Consent Form

Thank you to our rotation of Sunday School teachers and Nursery Workers who make it possible for FPC to have such a thriving atmosphere for children!
