Chief 360 Riding Board

Riding boards play a crucial role in the fire service, serving as dynamic tools for communication, accountability, and operational efficiency. These boards provide a visual representation of personnel assignments, enabling firefighters to quickly assess the situation and make informed decisions during emergencies. By promoting clear communication and streamlined coordination among team members, riding boards enhance overall safety and effectiveness on the fireground. Additionally, they serve as valuable training aids, helping personnel familiarize themselves with standard operating procedures and practice various scenarios. In essence, riding boards are indispensable assets in the fire service, facilitating seamless operations and ultimately saving lives.

At Chief 360, we've revolutionized the traditional riding board by digitizing it, making it easily accessible to our users on their smartphones, Chief 360 Dashboards, and even Chief Commander.

New Station Alerting System Commissioned

Independent Fire Company - Ranson, West Virginia

The Independent Fire Company in Ranson, West Virginia recently underwent a crucial upgrade to their fire station alerting system, managed by Chief 360. With the previous system reaching its end of life, leaving no room for future modifications, Chief 360 stepped in to revamp the infrastructure. By seamlessly integrating our modern station alerting controller and relays with existing lights, speakers, radios, and bells, the department could immediately leverage advanced features like pre-alerts, text-to-speech announcements, and heart-healthy alerting sounds tailored for sleeping crews.

Chief 360's innovative solution ensured compatibility with the existing hardware, eliminating the need for new wiring or additional devices. This facilitated a swift and smooth transition, enabling members of the Independent Fire Company to respond to emergencies with enhanced efficiency. With CAD integration, their system is now redundant and alerts on whichever source triggers first ensuring the fastest response.
