Recipe of the week ~ Raspberry Peach Lemonade

Ingredients:

  • 6 cups water (divided)
  • 1/4 cup white sugar
  • 3 peaches (peeled & diced)**
  • 6 oz raspberries (washed)**
  • 1 cup lemon juice (fresh squeezed, about 1 pound of lemons)**

Directions:

  1. In a medium pot, mix 1 cup of water and sugar. Bring to a boil.
  2. Add peaches and raspberries. Cook boiling 5 minutes mixing well. Peaches and raspberries will break down and turn to mush, this is good!
  3. Remove from heat and allow to cool for 5 minutes.
  4. Transfer warm mixture to a blender. Blend or pulse until smooth and no chunks.
  5. Strain mixture through a fine mesh strainer to remove raspberry seeds and any chunks.
  6. Add lemon juice and mix well.
  7. Place mixture in container with a lid and refrigerate until cool.
  8. When ready to serve, add 5 cups of water to lemonade syrup & mix well.

Please Remember
  • For all pick your own crops, Please call prior to visiting the farm to be sure that we are still offering pick your own on that day. Picking availability depends on weather conditions & crop ripeness. 860-633-2789
  • Due to health codes and visitor safety we are unable to allow dogs in the pick your own areas/ fields or in the farm market. *With the exception of working service dogs*
  • For the comfort of others please no large backpacks or strollers unless necessary. Please do not leave these items unattended in the picking fields / parking areas.

We work hard 12 months a year to provide our customers with the privilege to come and pick their own fresh fruit. Therefore we do ask a few things in return:

~Please limit the amount of fruit sampled while in the fields

~ Please treat our trees / crop respectfully. No throwing fruit or climbing trees

~ Once fruit is picked by a customer, it becomes yours. Due to health codes we cannot use this fruit for farm use. Once you pick it you must pay for it. Please do not abandon/ dump fruit.

~ Management does reserve the right to remove anyone from the property who is found to be abusing this policy.

                                                                 Thank You!

We appreciate your business and look forward to serving you in the future.
