8th Grade Graduation

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to each of our 8th-grade families for entrusting St. Gabriel Catholic Parish School with your child's education. As our 8th graders prepare to embark on their high school journeys—whether at Catholic Memorial High School, Chesterton Academy, Germantown High School, Hartford Union High School, Kettle Moraine Lutheran High School, or Marquette University High School—we are confident that they are well-prepared for the challenges ahead. Throughout their time here, they have built friendships that will last a lifetime and have grown into young individuals ready to make a positive impact in their new environments.

We also wish to express our sincere thanks to Hartford Landscape Supply for their generous donation to our school. The beautiful flowering pear tree planted outside the MASH room is a testament to their support and the lasting legacy of this year's 8th-grade class. A special thank you goes to Matt Lauersdorf and family, Landon Trahar's uncle, for making this wonderful gift possible.

As Father Tim reminded us during the last school Mass on Wednesday, though our 8th graders are moving on, they will always remain cherished members of the St. Gabriel community. We wish all seven of these remarkable students the best of luck as they enter this new chapter of their lives. They will be dearly missed.

A Message from Cindy:

I would like to thank all the parishioners, school families, Parish staff, school staff, friends, and relatives who attended my Retirement Party on May 22. A special thank you to all the people who brought food helped plan the party, and all the cards and gifts. What an amazing way to finish 31.5 years at St. Hubert/St. Gabriel School. I will truly miss all the students, families, and my co-workers but am looking forward to this next chapter of my life. This isn't goodbye but see you soon.

Student Life

5th Grade Final Project - "My Journey"

The fifth-grade students traced their bodies and divided them into sections. Each section was then divided into a grade and one section for a peek into the future. They brainstormed together ideas of things they remembered about each grade.

Once they had enough ideas, they began to write a description using a template Mrs. Burns gave them - field trips, what they learned, friends, good experiences or memorable experiences, etc.

They made their facial masks with Mrs. Wasserman in Art using all mediums.

8th Graders at the Zoo

Our 8th-graders had a wild time at the Milwaukee County Zoo last week. A special thanks to a very generous person who donated the cost of the bussing for our students to have a fun day of learning!

St.Gabriel Field Day

St. Gabriel students had a blast this week celebrating our long-standing tradition of Field Day! Phy Ed. Teacher, Mrs. Schulteis, truly outdid herself with an array of fun games and activities that kept everyone smiling.

The weather cooperated beautifully, allowing us to enjoy some much-needed outdoor time. Our 7th/8th graders were terrific helpers for the littles too!

A huge thank you to our amazing parent volunteers who made the day run smoothly and to the Gettelman family for the delicious popsicle treats that were a perfect end to the festivities!
