Give a Gift of Life: Donate Blood January 18th

March Blood Drive.png

Some things are just expected. The sun comes up every morning. The grass turns green in the spring. Water comes out of your faucet. And when you need blood, the hospital has it.

Except, some hospitals do not. For blood to be readily available, we have to do our part to supply it. It is not automatic. We need donors. We need you.

The American Red Cross is experiencing the worst blood shortage in over a decade, and this affects patient care. A dangerously low blood supply means hospitals are forced to defer patient surgeries, including organ transplants. Hospital demand remains strong, but fewer blood donors are taking action. Some don’t feel they are eligible, but they are. For instance, your COVID-19 vaccination status does not affect your ability to donate. If you are uncertain, please visit the American Red Cross eligibility list here.

Consider scheduling a blood donation, even if it is your first time. All Care has blood drives scheduled for March 18, May 13, July 15, September 16, and November 16, during 2022. We have scheduled our drives to allow our donors to achieve donation frequency eligibility of 56 days or more, at each of our drives. Please schedule a donation for each of our drives on the American Red Cross website.

Ashley Patzke Receives All Care's December Service Excellence Award!

A Patzke Service Excellence Award.png

Each month, All Care Health Center recognizes a team member who has gone above and beyond to help a patient have an amazing experience. This could include a great patient-employee interaction, a great success story, or any of the great work that goes on behind the scenes.

Congratulations to Ashley Patzke for receiving All Care's December Service Excellence Award! Ashley showed dedication to her patients by modifying her schedule to accommodate an emergency dental appointment. The patient required dental work to receive clearance for their upcoming joint replacement.

Thank you Ashley for your dedication to our patients.
