Staffing Updates:

I am excited to share that after an extensive search and a month of interviews, we have filled the School Secretary/Administrative Assistant position beginning next school year. She was in the school office last Friday with Mrs. Fassbender. She has some pretty big shoes to fill but she is ready and very excited about the opportunity. A formal announcement will be made after her current employer is notified.

We are still working on schedules and staffing for Spanish and Music classes. If you know of anyone who may be interested, please encourage them to contact me by either phone (262-628-1711) or email (klestina@sgabriel.org). Additional details are available on the archdiocese website under "careers".

Lost and Found:

Please stop in and check out our lost and found table. There are still many unclaimed items. Any items left on the table at the end of the school year, will be donated to Goodwill.

School Commission & Home and School Openings:

Due to several member terms ending this year, we have openings on both the SAC (School Advisory Commission) and HSA (Home & School Association). Please see the links below for more information regarding each of these committees. If you have any questions or are interested in joining either of these teams, please contact the school office or email Kim Lestina at (klestina@sgabriel.org).

Box Tops:

So far from July 2023 - present we have raised $317.90 from the Box Tops program by simply scanning shopping receipts. It's a super easy-peasy fundraiser! Box Tops are worth $.10 each and they add up fast! Twice a year, our school receives a check to help pay for whatever we need - equipment, supplies, or experiences the kids love! Did you know you can now connect your Walmart account for even easier fundraising? You can earn cash for your school without scanning receipts! See the app for more details.

Student Life

3rd Grade at the Zoo.

Our 2nd and 3rd graders had a wild time at the Zoo last week! It was a perfect day to be outdoors and learn about all the amazing animals. A huge thank you to a very generous anonymous donor who covered the cost of the bussing to make this unforgettable experience possible for our students!

St.Gabriel PhyEd.

Our students recently completed their last unit in Phy Ed, our Presidential Fitness Unit. The students worked hard to try and beat their records from last year. All of the students pictured were top in their class!

Congratulations to Chase and Aiden for breaking the record in pull-ups and the PACER, these records have been recorded since 1994.
