Integral Transformative Practice was founded as a launchpad, as George Leonard called it, for places yet unknown. This third issue of our 2022 quarterly newsletter centers on the theme of our potential for realizing extraordinary capacities for personal and social transformation. We are excited to share an excerpt from our upcoming book, that speaks to this topic.
From Living an Extraordinary Life: The Magic of Integral Transformative Practice, Christina Grote and Pam Kramer write:
"According to the philosophical basis of ITP, our divine nature, or spirit if you will, was involved in matter at the time of the Big Bang (involved here meaning the sense of actively participating, of being enfolded by) and with this involution came the potential for a greater life than we now commonly experience. As evolution progresses, it becomes more likely that our latent capacities will begin to emerge, as they are already present within us. They are not something we need to go out and look for but are part of who we already are, our birthright as human beings, an expression of what Murphy calls the great goods of the divine."
In the articles and videos found in this newsletter, we share inspiration and resources for experiencing the further reaches of our extraordinary nature - exploring affirmations through art, reciting poetry, walking in nature, centering practices in golf and the power of intentions to transform our brains, as Annie Styron Leonard, wife of George Leonard, tenderly shared at a conference in 2010.
Despite the myriad of challenges we face on our planet, it is an exciting and important time to be alive. Your transformative journey empowers us all as you awaken to your divine nature. Thank you for your presence in our global ITP community and for the gifts you generously give to our world.
Blessings of peace, beauty and love,
Pam Kramer
