Meet SCC's Newest Board Members

Mary Anne Hammond- Board President

Mary Anne and her late husband have been residents of Davidson for about 25 years. She's an artist and has a background in interior design. She is also a proud grandparent.

Mary Anne helped launch Senior Community Connections (formerly known as Davidson Village Network) alongside a group of talented citizens. Their goal was to be operational in 2017, and SCC has come a long way since its inception, thanks to her efforts.

Leamon Brice- Treasurer/Board Member

Leamon is married and has two children. He served as Davidson town manager for 24 years. He was grateful for the role Senior Community Connections played in allowing citizens to age in place, and he has now joined the board to help SCC continue the mission of allowing seniors to age their own way.

Christy Rosinsky- Membership Care Director

Christy has lived in North Carolina for 25 years, with the last 19-as a resident of Mooresville North Carolina. While originally from Georgia, she spent years visiting the Outer Banks and fell in Love with North Carolina and all the "adventures" the state has to offer.

After moving to NC, she met her mid-Western husband and built their lives in North Carolina with their vivacious, trouble making feline Roadie. In their spare time, they love to travel, with the beaches always being Christy's favorite destination and in the past few years, dipping their toes into overseas travel.

Eleven years ago, Christy's mom made the move to North Carolina to be closer to her husband and me. While she is very active in the community and has involved herself with many organizations, having her close and enjoying our time together has been a wonderful experience. Having had the chance to know her on a new level outside of childhood has shown me what a great gift our senior community has to offer everyone whether through family, companionship, or friendships, I felt SCC was a perfect organization to involve myself.

Nikki Calden- Marketing/Fundraising Director

Nikki was born and raised in the great state of Maine and relocated with her family four years ago to Davidson, NC and has never looked back!  The family has immediately connected to the community, geography and all the amazing outdoor living that the Lake Norman region has to offer!  Family first, home second, Nikki’s husband and two teenage children have loved their new North Carolina life!

She has built extensive knowledge helping both homeowners and builders with home remodeling, new construction and DIY projects. Her passion is connecting people with homes!

Nikki is currently planning a SCC first annual event alongside the fundraising committee which will take place in the spring.

Alissa Reitz- Member Care Director

Alissa has spent the majority of her career dedicated to senior mental health. She is the co-owner and therapist of Serendipity Therapy, and provides in home and virtual counseling to seniors. She lives in Davidson with her husband, two boys, and her goldendoodle, Teddy.

Margaret McAlister- Programs Director

Margaret is currently in Healthcare Management and a Health Science Professor and Internship Coordinator. She has had extensive community involvement, which includes being a volunteer driver for Senior Community Connections since April.

Christine Lockwood- Member At Large

Christine Lockwood is happy to join the board and bring her 20 plus years of experience in the sales and marketing field to SCC. Christine lives with her husband and three children just outside of Davidson in Mooresville NC. As a former Hospice volunteer she has a special place in her heart for our aging population. She looks forward to helping SCC expand their footprint as well as bring more awareness of this great organization to the area.
