Halloween Trick-or-Treat in Downtown Morristown

The witching hour has arrived! Little ghouls and goblins descend on downtown Morristown for the annual trick-or-treat.
Did you know costumed children have been trick-or-treating at Morristown businesses for almost 30 years? We're proud to continue the tradition once again and hope you will enjoy in this safe, fun and family-friendly afternoon on Tuesday, October 31st!
Please note: Participant sign-ups will be on-going and will be updated as received in October 2023.

All are welcome and encouraged to participate.
There is a complete virtual registration process this year.

DĂa de los Muertos Morristown
|
Morristown celebrates DĂa de los Muertos with local businesses, churches and Morristown High School collaborating together, creating altars honoring the lives of lost loved ones. The community is invited to explore these altars during an evening walking tour on Wednesday, November 1st, from 3pm to 9pm.

The universal symbol of light illuminates the rich cultural diversity of our community when Mayo Performing Arts Center transforms the Vail Mansion Plaza into a âTheater of Light,â an annual community event that takes will take place on Sunday, November 12 from 5-8pm!
This yearâs event will include:
- Lighting by BML Blackbird
- Live Henna Painting Mehndikalogie, Dhara Suvarnakar
- Live Ice carving OKAMOTO STUDIO
- MPAC Performing Arts Company
- Unity Steppers â Morristown Neighborhood House

Morristown ONSTAGE - Audition Today!

Center stage is calling!
A community staple for 17 years, Morristown ONSTAGE is seeking the best amateur and local talent to be a part of this unforgettable experience while raising money for the Morris School District. At the "must-see" family event of the year, the selected finalists will perform at the Mayo Performing Arts Center on Thursday, February 29, 2024 with a chance to win $1,000.
It is a unique showcase of amateur âactsâ of all ages performed by those who live, work, worship, receive talent training, or attend school in the towns of Morristown, Morris Township and Morris Plains as well as alumni of Morristown High School.
