We expect over 1,000 attendees, with nearly 300 family medicine residents, 400 or more faculty, and 300 students. This is a unique opportunity to market your health system, recruiting, promote a product, and more. Please visit our Exhibitor/Sponsor Information page and view our prospectus for the array of opportunities to interface with the family medicine community.

You choose the date, topic and speaker, and the FMEC schedules and promotes the event. Fees are $600, or $300 if you are also participating in the 2024 Annual Meeting Residency Fair. Registration is now open! Visit 2024 Family Medicine Residency Showcase Virtual Series to sign your program up.
Hereditary Breast Cancer Initiative Sees Progress
The FMEC and National Association of Chronic Disease Directors (NACDD) are collaborating on a quality improvement (QI) pilot project to engage family physicians in addressing hereditary breast cancer (HBC) and using narrative medicine and Bring Your Brave (BYB) resources in practice. Working with 7 family medicine residency training clinics, the FMEC is measuring changes in care. As of the project midpoint, 100% of the clinics have implemented screening tools, and most other project targets (documentation of discussion of results, documentation of offering of BYB materials, and referral for genetic counseling or testing) have been met or nearly met. The project will continue through July 2024. Watch the FMEC emails and website for more project reports as well as a 7-module CME series, Confidence In Hereditary Cancer Discussions, that will help you and your team improve screening, patient communication, and referral.
