When a Community Comes Together,
Great Things Happen
Please Donate To CEBA Today
The Center For Education, Business and the Arts (CEBA) is very close to becoming a reality! This community center will become a community hub where all people of all walks of life, ages, and backgrounds can gather, share ideas and learn and grow together.

"We are asking our community to donate whatever they can," said Susan Williams in a recent interview with the Republican Herald. "This is a community center where people from our county and region will benefit. We've received multiple letters of intent and letters of support from area business leaders, organizations and community members who want to use the building. Now we need everyone's financial support to make it happen. Every dollar counts, your dollar counts," she said.

So, what is CEBA? CEBA is an innovation center where entrepreneurs and community members can acquire affordable education, business space, and valuable resources they need to start and grow their businesses. CEBA will include a much needed culinary kitchen, conference/event center with a catering kitchen, a classroom for higher education, and co working space.

CEBA’s collaborative environment will enable individuals to grow their business ideas to a point where they can open their own storefronts, thereby helping to revitalize the community, fill empty storefronts, and create new jobs.

Be a part of history and please donate today. Every dollar counts...your dollar counts.

Donations can be made online at discoverceba.com, mailed, or dropped off at the DSI Office, 116 S. Main Street, Shenandoah, PA.
We want to thank all the community members who have donated to CEBA to date. Join us in making CEBA a reality! Let's add your name to this growing list!
Every dollar counts...your dollar counts!

Business Spotlight: SherryDental Serving Shenandoah Community
"Shenandoah has so much potential if we focus on what we can do better now, to improve our future.”
Dr. Sasha Sherry, SherryDental
Creating healthy smiles is just one of the goals of SherryDental, a dental practice that opened its doors at the end of 2018. Why does a young dentist decide to open a new business in Shenandoah? Partly because "father knows best."

Dr. Sasha Sherry explained that her dad, Dr. Ronald Sherry, also a dentist, has a talent for finding areas in communities that could benefit from dental services. She explained that many area dentists are getting ready to retire and will soon close their practices. "We are here to meet the needs of the community," she said. "The people in this community are awesome, and I enjoy meeting so many new people and helping them with their dental care."

Dr. Sherry said their Shenandoah office is growing and adds an average of 20 to 25 new patients each month. "New patients are always welcome," she said. SherryDental offers a variety of comprehensive dental services including emergency appointments, regular checkups, smile makeovers, and dentures. Dr. Sasha also has advanced training in making specialized oral appliances to treat snoring and sleep apnea. Sherry Dental's facility features the latest technology and equipment so they can make patient care and comfort a priority.

"Our staff is kind and considerate and our goal is to create relationships with our patients, meet their needs, and make them feel good about coming to the dentist. We care about doing the right thing," she said.

SherryDental is located at 10 South Bower Street, in a building that was totally renovated into new office space. She calls the renovation project a labor of love because she and her family were hands-on for many of the renovations. She didn't realize the former home had so many memories. "Several of my patients either once lived in our location or knew someone who did," she said. "I enjoy hearing about all the experiences patients had with this building."

Dr. Sasha believes it is important to get involved and is very active in the Shenandoah community. She regularly attends Shenandoah Chamber of Commerce board meetings, Downtown Shenandoah Inc (DSI) board meetings, and the Rotary Club. She wants the community to come together and work to build a stronger future. She believes that our past is significant, but to move forward we have to change the way we view Shenandoah.

"Let's shift our perspective to what it can be in the future," she said. "Shenandoah has so much potential if we focus on what we can do better now to improve our future.” She added that the Center For Education, Business and Arts (CEBA) will bring more opportunities to our area, provide more jobs and give our county so much potential. "It's all about coming together and taking action," she said.
