John Petrozzelli discusses "Shoring Up" National Cybersecurity Defenses on MarketScale's

Experts Panel

MassCyberCenter director, John Petrozzelli, sat down with other cybersecurity experts from Bernard Global LLC, University of Houston-Downtown, and The Futurum Group to discuss how to bolster cybersecurity on a national scale.

One of the ways the MassCyberCenter plans to tackle potential threats and strengthen cyber resiliency is via the MassCyberCenter’s Security Operation Center (SOC) initiative. In partnership with CyberTrust Massachusetts, community colleges, and universities, MassCyberCenter is using economies of scale and state-of-the-art technologies to provide affordable 24/7 Managed Detection and Response to municipalities, small businesses, and non-profits, while simultaneously training tomorrow’s cybersecurity analysts.

Thank you, Daniel Litwin, host of B2B at MarketScale, for providing an opportunity to address these important topics and offer strategic solutions.

Grand Opening of Bridgewater State University's

State-of-the-Art Cyber Range

We were excited to celebrate the opening of Bridgewater State University's (BSU) new state-of-the-art Cyber Range. The Range, funded in part by $1.5 million investment from the MassCyberCenter, will provide BSU students and partners a safe and controlled virtual environment to enhance their cybersecurity proficiency.

BSU's Cyber Range is an immersive experience that will be available to both students and other participants from local government, nonprofits, and private organizations. The goal is to strengthen the posture of municipalities in the region and increase the cybersecurity talent pipeline statewide.

We look forward to seeing how the new Range will bolster the next generation of cybersecurity leaders and strengthen the ecosystem in Massachusetts.
