Online Directory Available to All Cherry Crest Families and Staff
All families and staff now have access to an online families directory at directory.cherrycrest-ptsa.org. You should have received an email at the address you have on file on with the school (if not, check your junk folder!)

Curriculum Enhancement Chairs
Chairs are needed for Kindergarten and 4th grade. CE chairs work with teachers to plan and organize enrichment or Curriculum Enhancement activities for students. Generally, ideas are teacher-driven, with financial and logistical support from the PTSA.
2 hours/month planning, plus additional time helping on the day of each event.
The membership chair is responsible for maintaining the Membership planet database as well as membership recruitment (advertising and outreach to encourage parents to join the Cherry Crest PTSA). This is a great role to do with a friend.
Managing/maintaining Member Planet: 1-2 hours/month. Recruitment: Depends on volunteers time and creativity!
Do you enjoy working with words? Like hearing news first? Looking for a flexible way to volunteer on your own schedule? Charger Chatter newsletter editors take turns condensing and formatting submissions to produce an informative weekly newsletter of interest to our families.
Teachers, specialists and support staff are in the process of creating recorded presentations to be shared with all families on Wednesday, 6/23 at 6:00pm.
On the Cherry Crest school website, families and students will be able to access informational video presentations from their classroom teacher, specialist instructors, support staff and administration.

Bellevue School District Shares "Transition to Hybrid" Update
At the September 15 School Board meeting, the Bellevue School District shared a draft roadmap for our transition to Hybrid Learning.
Starting September 21, we will begin serving some students in person. We will start with some students receiving special education services and students who received an incomplete last spring. Read more on the BSD website.
The Meals2Go program, offered by Bellevue School District's Nutrition Services team, is designed to provide a free breakfast and lunch option for families to access for their children. Learn more on the BSD website.
The Cherry Crest Charger Chatter is emailed to families and staff on Tuesday mornings. The deadline for submissions to the Chatter is the preceding Wednesday by 7pm. Read our submission guidelines.
