China is Coming

The OCCUPATION Has Already Begun

In 2017, a crushing national debt, skyrocketing inflation, and crippling unemployment have frozen the United States' access to global credit. Against the backdrop of economic catastrophe, China offers a radical solution: the outright purchase of Florida for $5 trillion.

Since 2004, Project: Theater has been creating dynamic, groundbreaking independent theater in New York City. After the success of last year's production of MANGELLA, Project: Theater is proud to team up once again with playwright Ken Ferrigni to produce the world premiere of his new play OCCUPATION, a darkly comic story of a Chinese proconsul's attempt to put down a violent, Christianist insurgency composed of American patriots attacking Chinese soldiers in the Everglades.

We are closing in on our goal of raising $4,500 for our final payment to the beautiful 100-seat TBG Theatre where OCCUPATION will be running from June 6-23.  If you want to see this project succeed, let us know by making a donation*. $5 is all it takes to become part of the team.
