Hello Faye,
As a valued member of the UC Davis College of Biological Sciences alumni community, I want to ensure that you stay connected with us and continue to receive news and updates about the college, university and your fellow alumni.
I am writing to inform you that UC Davis will be discontinuing its current email-for-life service for alumni. As a UC Davis alum, you will have received communications from campus about this change. If you recently enrolled in DUO two-factor authentication, your email service will be temporarily extended based on your degree. You can find more information about this change here.
If you have not enrolled in DUO, it means that your current email address ending in @ucdavis.edu will no longer be available for use after April 25, 2024. Fortunately, the solution is very simple. To continue receiving communications from CBS, including the monthly Biome newsletter, please update your preferred email in the university’s One Aggie Network database.
If you have already done this, or are not sure if you have, you can review the information on file for you in One Aggie Network by entering your name and email. This will prompt the system to display the information on record for you, if a profile for you exists. It only takes a few seconds.
We are invested in staying connected to our alumni. While campus transitions this service into a more sustainable model, I hope that you will find the change smooth and without headache.
If you have questions, please reply to this email.
Warm regards,
Mark Winey, Ph.D.
Dean, College of Biological Sciences
Distinguished Professor of Molecular and Cellular Biology
