Crews will be paving portions of the raised intersections at the intersections of Kilburn Street at Pine Street and Marble Avenue at Pine Street. There will be short stoppages for vehicles exiting Marble Avenue onto Pine Street to facilitate the paving operations. There will be short stoppages for vehicles exiting Kilburn Street onto Pine Street and vehicles entering Kilburn Street from Pine Street to facilitate paving operations. This work will take place TOMORROW, Friday, May 10, between the hours of 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. Motorists should expect delays and are encouraged to seek alternate routes where possible.
Pine Street will continue to have a single northbound travel lane between Locust Street and Maple Street during work hours to facilitate paving operations, sidewalk installation, and drainage work. All southbound vehicles traveling between Maple and Locust Street will be detoured from Pine Street at Maple Street to St. Paul Street.
Kilburn Street, Pine Place, and Marble Avenue will continue to be restricted to right turn only at their intersection with Pine Street. Kilburn Street (reduced width), Pine Place, and Marble Avenue will remain open. Howard Street will continue to be closed at its intersection with Pine Street. This closure will remain in effect 24 hours a day until it is reopened Friday, May 10, by 7:00 p.m. Eastbound right and westbound left turns from Maple Street onto Pine Street are prohibited. Flaggers will be stationed at each side street to assist motorists. Please see the detour graphic below.
