Flaggers will be present to assist motorists throughout the work zone. Businesses will remain open! Motorists should anticipate rough and uneven gravel driving surfaces throughout the project limits.

In observance of Memorial Day, crews will be out of the roadway starting TOMORROW, Friday, May 24 by noon and offsite starting at 7:00 p.m. with construction activities resuming on Tuesday, May 28 at 7:00 a.m.

CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITIES & TRAFFIC IMPACTS:

Pine Street

Crews will be working along Pine Street from just south of Lakeside Avenue to just north of Kilburn Street. Work will take place along either side of the roadway with construction activities phased to prevent overlapping work zones. This work will require lane closures, driveway impacts, on-street parking restrictions, and changes in traffic patterns. Access will be maintained and impacted property owners will be reached out to directly.

On Tuesday, Pine Street will be reduced to a single northbound travel lane between Locust Street and Kilburn Street during work hours. All southbound vehicles traveling south of Kilburn Street will be detoured from Pine Street at Kilburn Street to St. Paul Street and will continue along Shelburne Street to Locust Street (Vehicular Traffic Only) or Flynn Avenue (Truck Traffic Only) and back to Pine Street.

Kilburn Street, Pine Place, Howard Street, and Marble Avenue will be restricted to right turn only at their intersections with Pine Street. Kilburn Street, Pine Place, Marble Avenue, Howard Street, and Locust Street will remain open. Marble Avenue, Howard Street, and Locust Street will have intermittent width reductions to facilitate curb work and the potential for short temporary closures for paving operations. Flaggers will be stationed at each side street to assist motorists. Please see the detour graphic below.

Pine Street - West

Crews will continue to install some of the remaining curb along the west side of Pine Street between Howard Street and Kilburn Street, focusing on installation the recessed curb at the remaining driveways.
