The Thompson 12HR Supplemental Information & Pit Requests (UPDATE)

Hello Competitors, UPDATE—We forgot to remind everyone that Thompson Speedway does not allow shorts on the cold or hot side of the pit lane. Closed-toed shoes are also required on the cold side of the pit lane. At Thompson, a crowd control fence will designate the cold pit lane. All guests that enter the Thompson Speedway facility must be either full ChampCar members or may purchase a weekend membership for $20 at ChampCar registration.

First, as always, please read through the Supplemental Rules and Schedule HERE. Please be sure to refresh your browser so you can look at the latest version 2.0.

Pit-Stalls:

Tech: 

Tech will start on Friday around 11:00am.

Please have your online tech sheet filled out and submitted before you arrive at the tech area. Officials will pull up your sheet and review your car to approve your car for the 2024 season. If you have already been teched for 2024, you will still need to upload your tech sheet but no need to go through tech.

Registration:

Please review your team's registration. Be sure your driver list and crew list are accurate and up-to-date before registration. Checking the membership status for each driver and your payment balance can make the check-in process much quicker.

Electronic Waiver and Gear Check Agreement:

These must be filled out every time a membership is renewed. If you see a red exclamation point next to a driver/crew name, they still need to complete the online waiver and gear check agreement. The process is simple to complete; however, it is very important that they verify both emails, otherwise it will not update. The waiver is the standard participation waiver, and the gear check is an agreement that you will comply with all of ChampCar's required safety equipment.

Garages:

Garages may be booked online HERE up to 2 days in advance. If it is within 2 days of an event, please call the TSMP office at 860-923-2280 in order to reserve a garage.

Flagtronics and Transponders:

Flagtronics units are required and can be rented for $50 at registration. Transponders are also available for $50 at registration.

Please make sure your Flagtronics has the latest update: v0.7.1.12
