| The NIH BLOOD Bank in Bethesda, MD is currently in need of both blood and platelets. The collected blood and platelets go directly to the pediatric and adult patients at the NIH Clinical Center Hospital. They appreciate all blood types, but have some surgeries this week and are specifically in need of donors with blood types A+ and B- . | |

EARTH MONTH CHALLENGE

Bethesda Transportation Solutions (BTS) wants to know.... How well do you know downtown Bethesda? Your local knowledge could win you a $100 Bethesda Bucks gift card!
BTS has a fun challenge each April to see if you can answer some simple questions about this great place. The answers are pretty easy to find.
The theme of this year’s challenge is built around the Bethesda Circulator bus. So, you might have to hop on a Circulator or check out our new app to answer these questions.
Three Challenge Questions
1. What are the images on the two Artistic Poetry Benches at the Circulator stops on Battery Lane?
2. How many buses are on the Circulator route at the same time?
3. How many seats are on a Circulator bus?

Diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace aren’t easily achieved by benchmarks and measurements, according to Paola Cecchi-Dimeglio, who is a senior research fellow at Harvard. Instead, she suggests that managers use six behavioral techniques to “reduce bias, boost diversity, and create the best possible talent pools.”
